Cheltenham Ladies’ College welcomes pupils from leading Japanese schools to learn or improve their English during the summer months. Each summer school comprises of between 30-40 Japanese girls, aged approximately 15 years. The pupils are taught English but also have a busy itinerary of excursions and extra-curricular activities. We aim to give the girls a taste of what it is like to study at a leading British boarding school. 

We have a number of opportunities for EFL teachers to teach English to our Japanese summer school pupils. Reporting to the Educational Courses Academic Director the EFL teacher will plan and deliver a wide range of high quality English lessons, following the Cheltenham Ladies’ College Educational Course syllabus and teaching in an engaging, motivational and inspirational way, to ensure students improve their English skills. 

Successful candidates will have excellent experience of teaching EFL or experience of teaching foreign languages.
