Working Hours: 37 hours per week

SGS College’s Apprenticeship Team have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Assessor to support with the delivery and assessment of our Level 3 Installation Electrician / Maintenance Electrician apprenticeship programmes at our Stroud and Horizon 38 (Bristol) Campus. 

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Support with the interview, assessment and induction process prior to the apprenticeship enrolment
• Develop learning plans, skills assessment and off-job-training plans with employer and apprentice.
• Support the enrolment of apprentices in-line with funding and audit requirements.
• Deliver the work-based element of the apprenticeships, including on-site training, assessment and feedback and in-class support sessions.
• Support learner with readiness for their end point assessment (Am2s).

Beneficial Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience working within industry and/or apprenticeship provision
• Qualification at Level 3 Electrotechnical Installations (Building and Services)
• Assessor qualification
• IT literate to include Microsoft Office packages
• Ability to work under pressure in a high-performance environment
• Flexible approach to work and willingness to travel, with occasional unsociable hours.
