Salary: Starting salary £25,351 - £28,476 per annum (a pro rata of £27,209 - £30,563) Appointment within the salary range will be dependent on the skills and experience of the appointed candidate. Incremental progression throughout the band is available

Contract Type: Term Time Only plus 2 weeks / Permanent
Hours per Week: 37 per week
As the employability coordinator for Nursing and Early Years you will be responsible for the co-ordination of all work based activities, including liaising with and be a key player in the relationship management with Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust and local Health, Social Care and Early Years settings. As part of this role you will be dynamic and able to respond efficiently to any issues that may arise. You will be highly organised, coordinating the placement rotations. You will plan and deliver relevant induction sessions in alignment with the Trust and local Early Years settings work placement expectations. You will be eager to promote and develop the Health, Social Care, Early Years and Nursing Cadet courses and have relevant industry knowledge, experience and a qualification in neo-natal nursing, paediatric nursing or a related Early Years field. The role involves liaising with students, teachers and employers to secure work placements and ensure that up to date records of all placements are maintained. The post holder is required to visit the placements to ensure they meet Health & Safety, ESFA and where applicable, awarding body requirements to complete observations.
