Role Title: Employee Relations Specialist - 80%

Location: Deeside

Contract Type: Permanent/Part-time

Salary: £32,147 - £35,811 (pro-rata)

Here at Coleg Cambria we are looking for a Employee Relations Specialist to join our growing Human Resources team at our Deeside site. 

Overview of Role

Joining us as Employee Relations Specialist, you will be primarily responsible for delivering a high performing and proactive business focussed HR Service. You will take the lead on HR policy as well as managing a wide range of complex employee relations issues. As an expert in employee relations you will be expected to work collaboratively with our managers and HR team on case management of individual, complex, high risk and sensitive employee relations issues.

Because HR is ever changing it is essential that you are able to demonstrate how you keep up to date with the latest trends and developments within the industry. We are also keen for the successful candidate to demonstrate flexibility and a high level of adaptability within their role.

Essential Requirements

  • CIPD Qualified to a minimum of Level 5 & MCIPD
  • Previous experience of working in a HR generalist role
  • Experience of leading stakeholder working groups including Trade Unions
  • Detailed knowledge and experience of HR legal parameters and best practice
  • Experience of HR system administration and development
  • Possess a strong customer focus and an ability to build trusted relationships
