Mencap, Lifestyles and Work team provide supported employment programmes for people with a learning disability. Employ Me is a funded project that provides support to gain the skills, knowledge and experience for progression in to paid employment.
We have an opportunity for an Employment Caseworker to join our Employ Me team to work in Barnet. This role is part time (30 hrs per week).

We are looking for individuals who can work on their own initiative, have good communication skills across all levels, interpersonal skills and.be approachable.
The successful Employment Caseworker will directly support people with a learning disability, autism and special educational needs (SEND).
You will work collaboratively with, educational and training providers, Job Centre Plus and support agencies generating referrals and you will be working with and supporting people individually and in groups to develop plans and activities which will take them closer to paid employment. This work will be carried out both online and face to face.
