Job overview

We are looking for an excited and passionate Employ Me Caseworker to work across Birmingham and the West Midlands on our Employ Me Services. Our programme offers a wide range of benefits, helping people with learning disabilities:

Progress towards paid work, voluntary work or further education

You will directly supporting SEND learners, working collaboratively with, and generating referrals from, educational providers, Job Centre Plus and support agencies.  

You will work with learners individually and in groups (online and face to face) to agree and develop plans and activities which will take them closer to paid employment

You will need the ability to work on your own initiative, good interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills as well as the ability to work effectively with learners, employers, educational professionals and parents/carers is essential. The ability to maintain accurate and up to date records using IT based systems is also required.

This is a full time post (37.5 hours a week) funded until Sept 2022. The role will work from an office address with some travel to other locations within Birmingham required.
