This is an exciting time to join BCT. We are expanding to launch our new world-class Digital Future Campus in September, including industry standard training rooms, equipment, VFX studios, e-sports arena and editing suites.

We are now looking for an outstanding Employment Engagement Lead  to join our team based in Walthamstow, East London. 

Key tasks 

To be able to: 

• Build relationships with creative employers. 

• Build relationships with agencies that specialize in employment for disabled and Nuero-Diverse applicants, 

• Provide employability and CV advice to BCT learners 

Desired qualities 

• Manage multiple workflows effectively, 

• Outgoing and able to generate and secure new leads, 

• Flexible and keen to develop new areas of the BCT offer to young people 

Technical skills 

• Effective IT and project management skills 

Apprenticeship Employer Engagement: Develop employer relationships and secure vacancies for BCT apprentices. This role will have a focus on supporting employers to recruit a more diverse workforce.

Mayors Skills Academy: Working alongside our adult learning team, this role will provide employability support into jobs and apprenticeships within 6 months of our learners completing their BCT adult digital skills course. 

Supported Internships: An exciting new area of BCT delivery that supports young people with high additional learning needs into supported 12-month work placements.

We welcome applications from industry professionals who wish enter teaching via the full teaching qualification with support funded by the Taking Teaching Further scheme. This will allow you 6 months of reduced timetable for training and support whilst receiving full pay and cover all qualification costs over the two years of study’.
