Due to the continued growth and success of the Apprenticeship Department at Macclesfield College, a new opportunity has arisen for a Employment Engagement Officer.
Duties will involve liaising with and supporting employers in identifying their business needs and working with the Delivery Manager to meet those needs. Carrying out presentations and undertaking training needs analyses in the light of business objectives to ensure that contract demands for all funding streams are successfully achieved. The post-holder will also be required to assist at careers events, open evenings and other promotional events across the College provision.
Possessing an NVQ level 3, or equivalent experience, the post-holder will ideally have a full understanding of Apprenticeships and other FE provision and will be able to evidence a pro-active, professional and credible approach to employer engagement, this to be demonstrated via a successful track record in meeting targets and increasing business. Experience of conducting training needs analysis is essential.

Annual leave
Academic staff are entitled to 40 days per annum (pro rata for part time staff) for the academic year 01 September to 31 August and this is in addition to the Bank and Public Holidays normally observed in England and Wales.
Business Support staff are entitled to 30 days per annum (pro rata for part time staff) for the academic year 01 September to 31 August and this is in addition to the Bank and Public Holidays normally observed in England and Wales.
College Management Team are entitled to 35 days per annum (pro rata for part time staff) for the academic year 01 September to 31 August and this is in addition to the Bank and Public Holidays normally observed in England and Wales.
The College is closed for 2 weeks during the student Christmas break during which time all staff are granted additional leave to be taken at this time.
