As part of our commitment to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education, we are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Engineer in Residence to inspire and engage secondary school pupils in the fields of Physics, Design and Technology, and Computer Science.
This role will provide the opportunity for the successful candidate to teach across the STEM disciplines, whilst playing a pivotal role in promoting a love for engineering among secondary school students through co-curricular clubs. The successful candidate will bring a wealth of practical engineering experience, creativity, and a passion for nurturing the next generation of engineers.

About Bancroft's
Located on the border between North-East London and Essex and backing on to Epping Forest, Bancroft’s is a co-educational independent day school for around 1200 pupils from 7 to 18.
Our pupils achieve outstanding academic outcomes. In 2023, 68% of our students achieved A-A at A Level and 74% of all entries were awarded the top grades of 9 or 8 at GCSE.
