About the role:

A fantastic opportunity for an Engineering Technician to work as a member of a team providing technical support and expertise to Mechanical/Electronic Engineering in the Centre for Applied Sciences, with a particular but not exclusive emphasis in the Engineering Curriculum. Duties will include preparing and setting up engineering equipment, materials and other engineering resources for practical classes and general maintenance (including cleaning) of equipment and basic maintenance of general engineering services and facilities.

About you:

Qualified to at least Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline, you will have BTEC Diploma in Engineering, City and Guilds or equivalent qualifications in appropriate subjects with significant experience in engineering workshop experience in an education setting. You will have general engineering technical skills and general technical knowledge of engineering equipment such as CNC, 3D printers, laser cutting machinery etc.
