We are looking for an teacher of EAL and English with drive, energy, a genuine love for teaching and learning and a passion for helping non-native speakers to access the curriculum. You will have outstanding teaching practice and the vision and determination to help integrate and support our EAL students as well as teach mainstream English to our native speakers. A candidate who has experience of preparing students for IELTs exams and teaching English to A-Level would be seen as an advantage but is not an essential pre-requisite for the role.

We currently have a dedicated EAL team of two full time staff, but it is worth noting that all teachers in the school are expected to contribute to successful teaching and integration of EAL students. We have an English department of two full time staff and one member of staff works across the English and Humanities Faculty We have students from over 21 nationalities and EAL students make up approximately 30% of the school.
