Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- To provide high quality delivery of 1:1 and small group support using a range of multi-sensory teaching methods.
- To be able to support students in upskilling and strategies to work towards success in both English and Maths Functional Skills and GCSE.
- To provide targeted support for everyone's needs including tracking and monitoring of learner progress.
Beneficial Skills & Qualifications
- To provide high quality delivery to individual learners and small groups using a range of multi-sensory approaches to work towards successful outcomes for learners.
- To have excellent knowledge of the syllabus of GCSE and Functional Skills English and Maths Examinations.
- To have knowledge of Exam Access Arrangements.
- Teaching commitment of a maximum of 828 hours over 36 weeks (pro rata for part time) with the remaining hours for administration, planning and preparation and any other duties associated with role.
- The completion of initial assessment interviews with students and identification of additional learning needs.
- Preparation of learning materials (including e-learning) appropriate for 1:1 and small group work in order to promote independent learning
