Actual Salary- £25,416.50 (Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience)

Contract Type: Permanent, Tem Time only 

Working Hours: 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • To provide high quality delivery of 1:1 and small group support using a range of multi-sensory teaching methods.
  • To be able to support students in upskilling and strategies to work towards success in both English and Maths Functional Skills and GCSE.
  • To provide targeted support for everyone's needs including tracking and monitoring of learner progress.

Beneficial Skills & Qualifications

  • To provide high quality delivery to individual learners and small groups using a range of multi-sensory approaches to work towards successful outcomes for learners.
  • To have excellent knowledge of the syllabus of GCSE and Functional Skills English and Maths Examinations.
  • To have knowledge of Exam Access Arrangements.
  • Teaching commitment of a maximum of 828 hours over 36 weeks (pro rata for part time) with the remaining hours for administration, planning and preparation and any other duties associated with role.
  • The completion of initial assessment interviews with students and identification of additional learning needs.
  • Preparation of learning materials (including e-learning) appropriate for 1:1 and small group work in order to promote independent learning
