English and Science Functional Skills Teacher

Are you passionate about supporting children's learning ? We are looking for a SEND teacher to join our team on a part time basis to teach the following subjects:

English - functional skills up to Level 2

Science - either Functional skills up to level 2 or BTEC Applied science

The role may suit a primary school teacher however experience teaching in a secondary school with SEND students is essential.

You will be teaching a small group of young people between the ages of 10 and 16 who due to a disruptive background have missed out on chucks of their education. Within this role you will be instrumental in providing a lasting, positive impact on the educational and life outcomes for pupils with SEND.

The school benefits from a creative timetable where the individual needs of each child is the focus.

This is an exciting position for an SEND teacher who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people. 

The role is a part time role and the hours can be flexible and we can split the role between two teachers or employ one teacher to teach both subjects.
