GEMS Modern Academy, Kochi is a new addition to the GEMS family, offering a premium high quality education in the wonderful city of Kochi on the south western coast of India. We are looking for teachers to offer a broad enrichment programme to our students over and above the curriculum offer.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing 3-18 school and be able to contribute to the development of the wider curriculum and extended opportunities that we offer our students. The school offers a vibrant environment in which to learn and develop your skills as a teacher.

You will be:

• Open to teaching English curriculum enrichment – speaking, reading, listening and drama as well as your specialist subject area, across the full age range of children (currently predominantly primary age),
• Creative, inspiring and innovative in your approach to engaging students,
• Flexible and approachable, with excellent communication skills and an understanding of different cultures and cultural expectations,
• Able to adapt your teaching style to fit any situation and use technology to enrich and support learning.
