Job overview

The purpose of the role is to promote and model outstanding teaching and learning in KS3 English.

You will:

  • Be enthusiastic, creative and able to inspire students to reach their full potential.
  • Be an excellent teacher.
  • Create a highly stimulating learning environment in which children want to learn.
  • Be committed to delivering engaging lessons and schemes of work.
  • Have excellent communication skills and be able to work interdependently within the faculty.

There is an excellent CPD programme plus the opportunity to enrol on the Masters Degree in Education.

You will join a dynamic, successful and welcoming English department with a strong team ethos. You must have excellent subject knowledge, be able to plan effectively to achieve targets and be able to inspire and motivate students.
