About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to become an English subject lead within the positive, caring and collaborative atmosphere of our school. You will need to:

  • Be a reflective and proactive practitioner
  • Have experience of working within an all-through primary school
  • Have a secure understanding of the English curriculum across the primary phase
  • Show how you have used data analysis effectively to inform teaching and feed into school improvement
  • Have the ability to motivate others and to lead their practice
  •  Have experience of managing teams
  • Be resilient, positive and have a good sense of humour
  • Be ambitious and determined to succeed and secure positive outcomes for our pupils
  • Make a positive and lead contribution to our school’s improvement
  • Have outstanding behaviour management skills
  • Have high levels of drive, energy and integrity
