Job overview

Witchford Village College is an expanding village college for years 7 to 11 located two miles west of the historic city of Ely and we are part of the Eastern Learning Alliance.

There is a strong culture of creativity with all students using their own iPad to learn in an engaging way. Our curriculum is relevant and exciting; students study a diverse range of voices in poetry, plays and novels, but also explore other texts such as graphic novels and animated films.

This is an exciting time to gain experience in the school and Trust more widely.

The post provides an excellent opportunity for an ECT or experienced teacher and could be combined with leadership opportunities depending on the experience and interests of the applicant.

Our Trust is committed to equal opportunities, to safeguarding and the promotion of the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. All staff are expected to share this commitment and undergo the appropriate checks. All positions within the Trust are subject to enhanced DBS checks and satisfactory references. Only applications submitted using the ELA application form will be accepted. We do not accept applications by CV.
