We require an enthusiastic and well qualified teacher of English to join our successful, supportive department.  Applications would be welcome from both experienced colleagues and Newly Qualified Teachers.  

To be successful, you will:

• be an excellent practitioner who thinks creatively and has the potential and desire to continue to improve;  

• have a passion for teaching and learning and be committed to raising standards across all Key Stages;  

• have a passion for English along with excellent subject knowledge and be able to communicate this to students;

• be an effective and committed team player who values the opportunity to take risks and who relishes challenge. We offer staff an outstanding induction programme; excellent support for professional development; excellent facilities and resources and friendly working atmosphere. Visits to the Academy are warmly welcomed and encouraged. 

• KS5 teaching may be available for an appropriately qualified candidate
