About The Role and You

Contract Type: Full-time, permanent, term time only

Salary: Commensurate on experience

Start Date: September 2024

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging and effective English lessons, allowing every student to reach their full potential.
  • Creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to participate.
  • Foster a love of reading and literature through the exploration of various literacy genres and texts.
  • Develop students writing skills through instruction in grammar, spelling, composition, and creative writing techniques.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • A specialism in English Literature, or a relevant field
  • Experience in teaching at KS3, 4 & 5
  • The ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential
