We are looking for a colleague who is excited and enthusiastic about change and who is willing to embrace new ideas and be innovative. The post offers opportunities to a person who wants to develop themselves in a professional and personal capacity. If you feel you are the person we are looking for, all you need to do is fill in the application form and add a concise letter of no more than two sides of A4 addressing the following:
• Explain what outstanding teaching and learning looks like in English and how you use this pedagogy in your own teaching to secure high levels of student progress.
• How your experience to date will enable you to successfully take on the role.
Application forms and further documents are on our website www.hungerhillschool.com
The successful candidate will join a highly successful and well respected school with strong parental support. We are a popular school which has an established Teaching School (http://partnersinlearning.org.uk/), and have an excellent reputation throughout the community. We are also the lead secondary school for Doncaster Research School (https://doncaster.researchschool.org.uk/), working on many evidence-based projects. Our success has been built upon an ethos that emphasises high expectations, a talented and hard working staff; a highly motivated student body and an extremely committed and supportive governing body. The staff here are committed and forward thinking - they have grasped the opportunity for development enthusiastically and see change as a positive feature of the school. There is no hint of complacency and we all recognise that there is still much to be done and continued success depends on a willingness to work hard and embrace new ideas.
Applications should be received by noon on Friday 18 May 2018.
If you would like to visit the school or discuss the post before you apply please contact Tracy Elsom, HR Manager.
