The Cambian Group, the UK’s largest provider of specialist services in education, mental health rehabilitation and learning disabilities, is looking for an enthusiastic, committed, Qualified Teacher for Key Stage 3 and 4 including GCSE English.

Grateley House School is a successful residential special school for young people with a diagnosis of Asperger Syndrome and associated disorders.

We offer an extensive curriculum to our students and currently require a committed teacher who will take the lead for English across the whole school.

You will have a flexible, creative and practical approach to learning and be responsible for developing individualised and small group programmes. Class sizes are no more than 9 students, with dedicated TA support. You will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

An understanding of the Autistic Spectrum Condition and experience of working with children/young people with additional needs is an advantage, however training can be given.
