If you can answer yes to these questions you may be the person we are looking for to become our English Language teacher in January.

As an excellent, qualified English teacher you will deliver English in a range of contexts, classes and years including examination groups. You will work closely with The Faculty and other teaching professionals in ensuring that all students have every opportunity to be the best that they can be and to achieve at their highest level. Your work will involve designing, planning and delivering bespoke, engaging and appropriately challenging programmes of learning as well as monitoring and tracking progress and attainment using on-going assessment information.

The successful candidate will:

•   be confident in using a range of teaching and learning strategies to motivate, challenge and engage learners of all ages and abilities, working in a range of English subjects, that could include: English language, English literature, media studies and film studies.

•   be confident in working with all tiers of leadership, with other teachers in The Faculty and with

the school’s Learning Intervention Team.

•   have significant experience in planning and delivering challenging activities which improve and secure the progress and attainment of all students and which ensure that they can be the best that they can be.
