English Teacher

Smart Teachers is recruiting for a hard-working and dedicated English teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in Islington (N5) from September 2016. This full time permanent position has come about because of a late promotion.

• Teacher of English
• Teaching KS3 through to A Level
• Working alongside a supportive department
• Permanent contract (but has potential to be fixed term or long-term supply depending on the successful candidate)
• Salary MPS inner London up to £37862 (depending on experience)

In order to be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following criteria:

• Hold a PGCE / Bachelor of Education or equivalent overseas qualification
• Have recent experience teaching the UK English curriculum
• Be a reflective practitioner who is eager to develop skills and strengths
• New qualified and overseas trained teachers are welcome to apply
• Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
• Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
