Vacancy: English Teacher (maternity cover)

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated English teacher to make a substantial contribution to the further development of this good school. The English team is friendly, hardworking and passionate about the subject; we work hard to engage and inspire all our students, so this post is an exciting opportunity to be part of further developing our students and our College. The post is due to start after Christmas, in January 2020, to cover a maternity leave part-time for up to one year. Excellent communication skills are essential as the successful candidate will be sharing classes with other members of the team. Experienced and NQT applications are welcome.
The successful candidate will have the qualities to motivate and inspire our students and will be required to teach at both KS3 and KS4. All students study both English Literature and English Language and are entered for GCSEs in Year 11.The ability to monitor and track the progress of year groups through data is essential, as is the ability to work effectively as part of the English team.
All Saints is an 11-16 school, situated near the northern boundary of Kirklees. We are a Catholic school with students attending from diverse cultural backgrounds, which contribute to the distinctive ethos.
