We are looking for a dynamic, ambitious and energetic teacher who can motivate and inspire pupils across both Key Stage 3 and 4, to join our forward-thinking English Department.
You will have a good track record of excellent classroom practice, be committed to high standards of learning and student progress, with the energy and vision to build on current progress and have ambitions for yourself and our school.
This is a full-time maternity contract to start on 2nd December 2019 or, for the right candidate, a start date of 6th January would be considered.
Results for English Language and literature have been significantly above National figures for progress and attainment over the past two years. The department is well established, with 13 members of staff, a number of which are part-time. All staff deliver across the full subject and ability range. Within the team there is a Head of English, Second in English, a Literacy Co-ordinator and a specialist Literacy Teaching Assistant.
