Required for September 2021, well-qualified teachers to join an outstanding English department in this highly successful comprehensive 11-18 Catholic School.  This is an ideal post for either a newly qualified teacher or one seeking further experience in a high achieving context.

The successful candidates would be expected to teach English at KS3, GCSE (Language and Literature) and desirably at ‘A’ Level.  There are highly successful A Level courses in English Language, English Literature, English (Combined) and Media Studies within an Associated Sixth Form of over 1,000 students.  

St John Fisher is a highly popular, oversubscribed school, situated in the delightful spa town of Harrogate.  It is a community based on Christian values, which serves a wide area of North and West Yorkshire.  The school has high expectations of all and an excellent reputation for academic standards and pastoral care, graded as outstanding by OFSTED.
