Our Lady of Sion School was founded in Worthing in 1862 by the Congregation of Our Lady of Sion, a Roman Catholic foundation which works to foster mutual understanding between people of different religions and cultural traditions through its communities in 24 countries. The school is now independent of the Order and has since been incorporated as a private limited company, with independent charitable status. Although we strongly respect our heritage, we aim to help young people of all faiths and beliefs and those that do not have a religious belief. Religious affiliation is not a factor in the admission of pupils or the appointment of staff.
