South Staffordshire College require a teacher of English to teach the new specifications in GCSE English to a range of learners in terms of age and abilities across a variety of vocational areas. An ability to deliver Functional Skills would be an advantage.
The successful applicant must have the relevant teaching experience and hold a teaching qualification as well as a qualification in English up to level 5 or have a commitment to obtain the outstanding qualification within a given timescale.
It would be beneficial to the applicant if they have up to date knowledge of the Common Inspection Frameworks, experience of external assessment and benchmarking and knowledge of quality improvement and raising standards.
