The role of necessitates the ability to deal appropriately with a wide range of people and tasks; confidentiality and flexibility are essential to the role. A calm, smart and friendly appearance is important in this role to reflect the ethos of the school and to continue its positive and nurturing environment. During holidays you will work 30 hours over 10 days or in collaboration with the other members of the Office team ensuring cover for the Office is organised in advance.

Newbridge Preparatory School is committed to the safeguarding and welfare of children and young people and all staff share this responsibility. Safeguarding training is actively promoted on an annual basis and is mandatory for all staff. We also expect all staff to consistently adhere to all school policies whilst employed at the school. 

  

  Main Responsibilities: 

· Event Coordinator: Coordinating with the preparations for School events including, sports fixtures, Parents’ Evenings, Prize Giving, Carol Services and other events; including the booking of venues. 

· Educational Visit Coordinator: organising visitors, visits, school trips and residentials; coordinating all bookings, associated paperwork and Risk Assessments. 

· Extra-Curricular Coordinator: Booking external providers and using the Parent Portal and administrating the online booking system 

· GDPR Officer: Responsibility for data protection compliance within the organisation

· Attendance Officer: Overseeing and completing the attendance registers, absence records and end of day/after school registers. Following up on unauthorised absences

Newbridge Preparatory School is a leading independent day school for children aged 2 to 11. Newbridge Preparatory School has been an independent day school in Wolverhampton since 1937. Newbridge Preparatory School moved to its present site in Newbridge Crescent in 1949. The school was originally founded by an eminent local surgeon and initially operated as a member of the Parents’ National Education Union. Many former pupils affectionately remember the P.N.E.U School.
