The Wellington Academy is a highly inclusive, innovative school, which opened in 2009 to serve the Tidworth area of Wiltshire and is situated on the Wiltshire/Hampshire border, within close proximity of the A303 and A34. Recently graded ‘Good’ by OFSTED, the Wellington Academy has transformed itself into a high performing school over the past three years.
This role will make a huge difference to children that require extra focus outside of the main classroom setting, in the role you will be required to split your time delivering enrichment lessons in line with the Academy’s Enrichment schedule. You will also be able and willing to deliver lessons to small classes of students, therefore, classroom based experience is essential as is the ability and confidence to teach lessons to 11-16 year olds.
