The Sixth Form College Farnborough is seeking to appoint a dynamic, creative and energetic individual, who would like to be part of this new phase in our enrichment programme. This is the ideal opportunity for someone to work with academic and pastoral staff across the College, creating distinctive enrichment activities for all our students. 

The successful candidate will have a keen sense of responsibility, ownership and a ‘can do’ approach to enhancing the learning experience by coordinating a range of inclusive enrichment activities, sessions and workshops.

The purpose of this role is to promote, support and organise a comprehensive enrichment programme of activities for students which complements their programme of study. 

As the Enrichment Coordinator for the College, you will lead on developing student involvement through planning, organising, promoting and supporting a programme of cross college enrichment events that cover health, wellbeing, safety, community engagement, learner voice and other themes as directed.

Experience of working with young people or within an Enrichment Team, knowledge of Student Union recruitment and activities, and a Youth Work qualification, are some of the key criteria. The selected candidate must have strong ICT skills. 

The candidate will be able to communicate effectively with people, work independently without close supervision, able to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines, providing timely reports and updates.

Contract/Hours: Permanent, 37 hours per week, term time only 

Start Date: July 2022

Working Pattern:  Monday - Friday, 08.30 - 16.30 / 16.00

The Sixth Form College Farnborough is a sixth form college located in the town of the same name, in Hampshire. Since September 2017, The College has been part of The Prospect Trust, a multi-academy trust. The College had originally been a grammar school founded in 1936, becoming a full sixth form college in 1992. The college is co-educational, with over 3900 students aged 16-19. Since its establishment as a sixth form, the college has undergone extensive redevelopment and modernisation, and as a result can boast of a wide range of high-quality teaching and recreational facilities such as a brand-new purpose-built teaching block opened in 2010 containing teaching facilities for physics, electronics and photography among others. Around a third of the students at the college are on mixed programmes of study combining A levels and vocational courses. The college offers 33 A-level courses, with the largest being in psychology and mathematics. Of the 11 vocational courses, the largest are in criminology and business.
