Operating across over 64 sites throughout the ACT and NSW and employing over 2,100 professionals, Catholic Education, Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn (CECG) is a complex K-12 education network. CECG is transforming to ensure sustainable delivery of our school system to our 21,000+ students.  The transformation program is implementing adaptive systemic improvements that best support the quality learning for our students, for today and tomorrow. The technology drivers underpinning this program include enterprise systems refresh, BI and analytics, and a sustainable regional infrastructure network. In time comprehensive learning technology platforms will support our teachers and students.

As Enterprise Architect you will hold a pivotal strategic technology leadership role. With your previous experience as an Enterprise Architect, you will initially build a holistic view of CECG technology strategy and work immediately as the technology advisor within the transformation portfolio.

To be successful in your application, you will demonstrate a blend of strategic business acumen, large-scale IT system know-how, an appreciation for governance and operations and the ability to lead our vendor sourced domain architects in designing effective ICT solutions. You will be attuned to student and staff privacy and regulatory compliance. You will use frameworks to organise your ‘systems’ thinking, yet the architecture is always relevant to contemporary education sector drivers.

Qualifications in Information Technology/Business or similar are essential. Further information is provided in the position description.

Please note that this position is for an initial 3 year contract term with scope for extension.
