The role

We are looking to appoint 3 Enterprise Coordinators to work with businesses and schools on the Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP)’s and Careers and Enterprise Company’s flagship Enterprise Adviser programme in Leeds City Region. This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with secondary schools and colleges to connect them with employers and support the creation of innovative and creative new employer engagement opportunities.

The successful candidate will have detailed knowledge and understanding of the school business education landscape and of the issues facing senior leaders in schools and businesses. You will have a proven ability to successfully support and challenge senior leaders in schools, evidence of partnership working and a track record if engaging with business on the skills agenda. We are looking for a highly motivated individuals who are prepared to work flexibly and as part of a growing team in a high-profile and demanding environment – often working to tight deadlines and someone who would want to contribute to making a difference to young people’s employability in Leeds City Region.

The person

  • You will be educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Experience of working with senior leadership teams in secondary schools.
  • Experience of engaging employers in activities relating to careers and enterprise.
  • Experience of planning and organising workloads to deadlines.
