Are you an experienced Events Administrator/Administration Assistant looking for a new challenge within an iconic and unique environment?
Do you have first class organisational skills, an eye for detail and proven experience of managing multiple priorities in a fast paced and dynamic environment?
We have an exciting opportunity for an Administration Assistant to join our Enterprise team here at Stonyhurst College.
You will provide administration support and general office duties within the Enterprises team and play an integral role in supporting the team with commercial events, lettings and the Stonyhurst Summer Language School. The key tasks and responsibilities will include all event administration, printed materials, invoices and accommodation plans, meeting preparations and event marketing, including the management/maintenance of several websites.
The ideal candidate will have:-
- Excellent communication skills
- A flexible and solution-oriented attitude to work
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service, and maintaining strong relationships
- Proven organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
- Excellent IT Skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office packages, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook are essential
- Experience of Management Information Systems would be advantageous.
- Experience of a similar role is advantageous but not essential, however proven organisation and administrative skills are essential to the success of this role.

This role is a full year job and will be between 25 hours and 37.5 hours per week according to our peak periods for Events.
Hours of work will be:
25 hours per week from 1st September to 30th April and
37.5 hours per week from 1st May to 31st August.
