We seek a vibrant, well-qualified, and committed teacher of Environmental Science (ESS) to teach IB Diploma (UK Years 12-13) and IB MYP Science to Grade 6 through 10 (UK Years 7 through 11). Previous experience in this IB subject will be an advantage, but of prime importance is a passion for science, rigorous thinking, problem solving and inquiry-based learning, with the ability to instil the same passion in students.

With a liberal ethos, an emphasis on academic excellence and a commitment to the values of the IB, Southbank offers the opportunity to further extend your teaching and learning skills in a friendly, supportive but hard-working team. We offer excellent professional development opportunities linked to our well-developed appraisal programme which provides all teachers with regular feedback. We want all our teachers to develop professionally and to help develop the school. We are particularly interested in candidates able to demonstrate outstanding teaching and learning practice informed by educational research.

All our teachers offer a termly extra-curricular activity which should motivate, excite and interest children.
