Who are we?
Catholic Education Archdiocese Canberra & Goulburn (CECG) is a leading education provider in the Canberra and southern NSW region. We have city, rural, coastal and remote schools in an area of 88,000 square kilometres from Pambula in the south to Goulburn and Crookwell in the north and west to Lake Cargelligo. The System is comprised of 29 schools and 8 early learning centres in the ACT and 27 schools in NSW. We educate approximately 21,000 students and have over 2000 staff.

About the role
The Graduate Teacher campaign is aimed at pre-service teachers who will:

  1. Graduate from their education degree at the completion of semester 1, 2021, OR;
  2. Graduate from their education degree at the completion of semester 2, 2021 AND are willing to work as a casual teacher across NSW schools (I.e. Goulburn, Queanbeyan, Yass, Cooma, Braidwood, Boorowa, Crookwell).

Essential Criteria

  • A commitment to learning and openness to developing your teaching skills
  • Ability to integrate the use of Information and communication technologies to both engage students in their learning and prepare them for an increasingly technological society
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all key partners
  • Currently in your final year of tertiary qualifications to become a Teacher.
