Purpose

As the ESOL Employability Trainer, your primary role is to deliver English Language Training to participants accessing our services on the Refugee Employability Programme (REP). REP, an initiative by the Home Office, is specifically tailored to meet the unique needs of refugees, offering comprehensive support to help them secure employment and establish fulfilling lives. By addressing barriers that may not be fully addressed by mainstream services, your role is crucial in enabling refugees to become self-sufficient by providing them with the necessary language skills to thrive in the job market and their new communities.

 

Essential:

You will have:

  • ESOL/EAL subject specialist teaching qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Proven understanding of the Adult ESOL Core Curriculum
  • Experience of working in a fast paced, target driven environment
  • Experience in successfully managing and progressing customers to meet agreed goals and ambitions

Working across the following London boroughs: Barnet, Brent, Camden, Ealing, Enfield, Hammersmith & Fulham, Harrow, Hillingdon, Hounslow, Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster
