ESOL Maths Lecturer

About the role:

You will be responsible for preparing and teaching Functional Skills maths classes to 16-18 year old learners on full-time ESOL programmes within the School of Skills for Life at the Enfield Centre. Maths is offered from Entry Level 1 to Level 2. You will also be expected to contribute to the development of the learners' English language skills through their Maths classes. There may also be some teaching to adult ESOL learners in discrete Functional Skills maths classes.

You will be experienced with a track record of assisting learners to high levels of success. You will hold a teaching qualification and a maths subject specialism. Experience of preparing learners for external assessments with a recognised awarding body is essential.
