Buckswood School is a leading institution dedicated to providing high-quality education and support to individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. Our ESOL program is designed to equip students with the language skills necessary to succeed in both academic and real-world settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging ESOL lessons tailored to the needs of diverse learners
  • Assess students' language proficiency levels and monitor progress over time
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes confidence and participation
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and resources
  • Provide constructive feedback to students to facilitate their language development
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and other relevant data

Requirements:

  •   Bachelor's degree
  •  CTESOL OR CELTA essential
  •  Previous experience teaching ESOL to adults or young learners
  • Experience of IGCSE, Cambridge exams and IELTS
  •  Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners
  • Proficiency in a second language (preferred but not required)


Fixed term Contract: One year
