The Laurus Trust is a rapidly expanding multi-academy trust with a reputation for outstanding teaching and learning.
We have a strong heritage. Our founder school, Cheadle Hulme High School, has been judged as Outstanding in its last two Ofsted inspections. Gorsey Bank is a high performing primary in Wilmslow and we are also home to the Altius Alliance, a teacher training provider which has been given the top grade by Ofsted. We have seven schools in total across the Trust including a brand new school Didsbury High School which opened in September 2019 and Hazel Grove High School which joined the Trust in September 2019.
This is, therefore, an important stage in the development of The Laurus Trust. With our growth comes the opportunity for talented staff to make their mark.
We are looking for an Estates and Facilities Assistant to join our growing Estates team. The job is physically demanding and will involve working a 37-hour week, on shifts usually of either 6.30am – 3.00pm or 10.00am – 6.30pm Monday to Friday, at one of the Laurus Schools. Some overtime will be necessary to cover for evening and weekend events for which additional payment will be made at the appropriate overtime rates. The successful candidate must have their own transport and be prepared to train as a first aider and will be offered all relevant training for the position.
