This is an important role, supporting the Head of Estates and FM to oversee and manage the delivery of property and facilities management services to the Trust and its schools, including but not limited to contractor management, catering, cleaning, grounds services, energy management, health and safety, statutory compliance and insurance.

The fundamental role of the Capital and Estates team is to facilitate what is happening in our schools across the Trust network, ensuring we are keeping up with latest best practice whilst driving the need for high quality robust infrastructure. This enables the schools to keep lifecycle costs to a minimum, whilst providing value for money and supporting a nurturing safe learning environment.

​​​​​​​Who we’re looking for

You will be a values driven, committed individual who can bring experience of property and facilities management to the Trust. The Head of Estates and FM is looking for an individual with energy and initiative, who is comfortable working within a collaborative environment and be a champion across our schools.


You will have: 

  • A qualification in facilities or estate management is preferable. However, relevant demonstrable experience will be acceptable, as this is a newly created role for the Trust. 
  • Attention to detail, be well organised, flexible and happy to work within a team. 
  • The ability to build positive relationships and be able to rise to the challenge of improving service delivery.
