King's School, Bruton, an independent co-educational senior boarding school, is seeking to appoint an Estates Manager who will be responsible to the Bursar for the management and development of the buildings and services at the School, on a full time basis.

In charge of a small team, the successful applicant will be experienced in estates management and will have responsibility for Health & Safety. Good communication and organisational skills, together with the ability to work well in a busy, demanding and varied environment, will be essential.

King’s Bruton is a mixed independent school with sixth form in the Somerset town of Bruton. Students attend the school from the ages of 13 to 18, with the option to board throughout their school careers. There are approximately 370 students on roll. The Somerset school operates in partnership with Hazlegrove Preparatory School, in nearby Sparkford.

King’s Bruton was founded as a boys' school in 1519, admitting girls in the late 1960s before becoming fully co-educational in 1997.
