Salary up to £60,000 p.a. 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, qualified Estates Manager with a proven track record in managing multiple complex projects to be able to lead on the delivery of our Schools’ estates strategy.  This is a key role which holds responsibility for the strategic management of the schools’ buildings and grounds across all sites and includes delivering large building projects from inception to completion whilst overseeing and managing external contractors to ensure successful delivery.  

Excellent team leadership skills are required as you will lead, motivate and develop the team and manage any external contractors in order to ensure that the school buildings and grounds are maintained and presented to the highest standards and to also ensure Health and Safety on the school site. 

You will have a strategic outlook along with financial awareness and the ability to work at a very high level, using your own initiative in order to meet the strategic objectives of the school.    

St Albans High School for Girls is a highly academic girls’ independent day school set in the heart of St Albans, with very good transport links to central and outer London.
