About the role:

We are seeking to appoint a flexible and hardworking Estates Officer to join our Estates Team across our South Yorkshire cluster of schools. Hours of work will be 37.5 hours per week. Shift patterns may be required and will incorporate the opening times of the academies (7am-8pm), applicants will need to be flexible to support during these times. Specific shift times will be either 7am-3pm or 12noon-8pm. Main duties include general upkeep of academy building and premises, painting, general DIY and maintenance.

You will be based at Sheffield Park Academy. There may also be opportunity to support our other schools within the South Yorkshire Cluster so the ability to travel to other sites is essential (greatest travelling distance Barnsley).

Previous experience in a similar/caretaking role is desirable however full training can be provided for those without direct work experience. Overtime at weekends may also be available when business need arises. This post is being advertised on a permanent basis.

Job Specifics:

  • Someone who has previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
  • You must hold a driving licence as a requirement for the role, it would also be desirable for you to have the ability to drive a minibus.
