We are seeking a proactive and visionary Estates Site Safety and Development Manager to drive forward the Academy Vision.

Notton House Academy is a well-established residential SEMH special school located near the National Trust village of Lacock in Wiltshire. We have been judged as good (Ofsted 2015) and recognize the importance of a multi-professional approach to meeting young people’s needs. Our ethos is to ensure students achieve their full potential, both academically, socially and emotionally; so they are fully prepared for the next phase of their lives. Through high challenge and high support we aim to provide the best learning experience so all at Notton House make progress and attain.   

We are seeking an outstanding and creative Estates Site Safety and Development Manager to join the team at Notton House Academy. We are committed to continued professional development on our journey to Outstanding. We have recently become part of Learn@MAT,which consists of 3 other Academies based in Bristol.  

The Estates Site Safety and Development Manager will work in conjunction with the Head Teacher and Bursar, who are responsible to the Academy Council. The Estates Development and Site Safety Manager is responsible for the continual development and best use of the Academy site and its facilities for the support of learning and work experience opportunities.   In working and liaising with colleagues across the Academy they will plan and co-ordinate developmental work which enhances the site and provides outstanding learning opportunities.   

This post holder will establish a long term vision and plan in regard to how the Academy can maximise its grounds and facilities through a manageable budget.   

Further to this, the role will establish and ensure that all Health and Safety policies and procedures are in place and followed in line with Learn@MAT, COHSS and DFES regulations.  For further information or to arrange a visit please contact the Bursar by email reception@notton.learnmat.uk.
