Job overview
We are looking for a self-motivated, proactive and hard-working individual to supervise a team of evening cleaners ensuring that the Callywith College buildings are maintained to a high standard.
The successful candidate will undertake cleaning duties daily to a set programme along with the cleaning staff. Applicants should have previous cleaning and management experience and/or experience of supervising a team, knowledge of the safe storage and usage of chemicals (COSHH), be a good communicator and have strong attention to detail.
The role will involve stock checking and ordering, staffing rota preparation and monitoring, liaising with daytime staff and Estates Manager before the arrival of the evening team, cleaning from 16:30–20:30, monitoring and assessing cleaning and passing on information for daytime team.
