Can you help to be the difference …?

Are you looking for a challenging, exciting and rewarding career with the nation’s leading ambulance and first aid charity?

St John Ambulance believes that anyone who needs first aid should get it. But the fact is that’s not happening. We are determined to be the difference between lives lost and lives saved.

A position has arisen within the South East region of St John Ambulance. We are looking to recruit an Events Administrator. This role will be based in our offices in Brighton.

The job holder will be responsible for ensuring that event administration is dealt with in an efficient, correct and timely manner.

The Events Administrator is responsible for handling customer enquires, bookings and related administration processes for the delivery of first aid and ambulance provision at public events throughout the South East. The successful candidate will have a demonstrable record of performing excellent administrative duties including prioritisation and time management skills in a fast paced environment.

Your ability to communicate and team work will be essential to the success of this role.

Part time: 21 hours per week (Monday-Friday 10.00-14.00 with 30 minutes additional 2 days per week)

Interviews will be held on Wednesday, 2nd May or Thursday, 3rd May 2018.

Closing date: Tuesday, 24th April 2018.

About St John Ambulance (SJA)

At St John Ambulance we believe everyone should get the chance to learn how to save a life, so that whenever a first aid emergency occurs, whether in the home, workplace or community, someone is on hand with the skills to help.

Every year, 400,000 people learn first aid through our training programmes, including hundreds of thousands of young people. Our volunteers provide first aid in their communities, keeping people safe at events, and working alongside the NHS in response to 999 calls. We generate around £100m per annum which we reinvest in delivering and campaigning for better access to first aid for everyone. By doing this, we can give people the chance to learn basic first aid skills that they wouldn't otherwise get the opportunity to learn.

First aid is such a simple skill, but it has an incredible impact.

We want everyone to learn it, so that they can be the difference between a life lost and a life saved.
