We are seeking to recruit an Events and Communications Graduate Trainee to support the Director of Operations in building relationships within the Ardingly community, particularly amongst the alumni body.
The key purpose of the role will be to:
- engage the alumni community of Ardingly College through events, publications and online communications;
- maintain the alumni database;
- support the Development department through alumni engagement.
Applicants should have a good degree in English, Marketing, Public Relations or related discipline, strong administrative skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Experience of preparing articles for publication is essential and events management experience is an advantage. The ideal candidate will have worked or volunteered in a school or university’s publication team.
This position is offered initially as a two year fixed term graduate trainee role, requiring 40 hours per week, usually Monday to Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work.
