Evolution Sports is an award-winning multi-sports academy within Doha College that offers coaching in a wide range of sports and fitness, including soccer, swimming, basketball, netball, and strength and conditioning and develops children from 18 months through to adults. Evolution Sports began in 2007 and has evolved as Qatar’s largest multi-sports coaching provider, playing an integral part in the development of a new era of sport and health culture in Qatar.
Evolution Sports is situated at Doha College Al Wajba, featuring World Class sports facilities, including a full-size 11-aside football field, numerous sports halls, outdoor training courts, two indoor swimming pools, and fitness studios. Alongside these facilities, there's also a sports café on the premises. Additionally, Evolution Sports conducts its sports programmes in Abu Hamour, West Bay, and the Pearl, partnering with other schools in these locations.
The opportunity
We are now looking to appoint a number of self-motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join Evolution Sports for a 7-week period between 14 July – 29 August 2024, as Summer Camp Multi-Sports Coach. The successful candidate will be responsible for coaching sessions within the #IAMEVO Multi-Sports Summer Camps, which falls in line with the Evolution Sports coaching philosophy, vision, and values of the club.
About you
The ideal candidate should have some experience coaching a wide range of abilities and children aged between 4 to 12 years old. Experience in a similar role would be advantageous. We require candidates to have a current Qatar ID and be able to produce an NOC from their current sponsor. Additionally, candidates must be able to comply with our safeguarding requirements. We expect you to be a highly motivated and successful practitioner who is willing to contribute positively to all aspects of the academy and college. A high standard of written and spoken English is essential for all our positions.
