Salary: Support Scale 6 £27,553 - £29,269 (pro rata £13,983 - £14,854) per annum inclusive of Outer London weighting

Contract: 25 hours per week, 38 weeks per annum (Term Time Only)

Student Services are looking for one enthusiastic and qualified EAA officer to assess SEN students which require access arrangements for their exams. The candidate will be joining a successful & high achieving team.

The successful applicant will be working across all campus’ to assess students and work with college staff and faculty areas such as exams, MIS and English and Maths; parents, professionals and external stakeholders to gather evidence as part of the colleges quality assurance requirements, for conducting assessments for access arrangements in line with Joint Qualifications Councils guidance.

You will need to have experience in diagnosing and conducting assessments for learning difficulties such as dyslexia and undertake at least 100 hours relating to individual specialist assessment to assess SEND students.

You must have completed a postgraduate course at or equivalent to Level 7, and have previously worked in this role and/or must have one of the following:

· Courses which are accredited at AMBDA or APC Level

· Post-graduate course at or equivalent to Level 7 which provide a qualification in access arrangements assessment

You will be working on an independent basis and report directly to the Learning Support Manager. The post holder could be asked to work at any of the college campuses in Barnet, Enfield and Hertfordshire.
